My mother is from Colombia and Dad is Argentinian. I grew up with my mom and she is of european spanish and syrian descent so she is blonde and fair skin and my dad is to since most people in argentina is fair and european looking. since i grew up with my mom i am fluent in spanish and very close 2 tha hispanic culture and for some reason people are surprised when they hear i am a latino. I don’t understand why people think that one must have dark hair and dark skin 2 be latino. I have brown hair and very dark eyes but fair skin. I have traveled Colombia and have seen blonde hair freckles people and pure black people there too so i don’t understand tha steryotype people get of us. why do people think all hispanics have 2 have dark features to be considered one?
yo “forever” u pretty tough talkin trash and not showin ur real name or pic. nice
and Ashley 99 can u not read or are u just tha most stupid moron here why don’t u read my question again. i glad u don’t wanna go 2 any 3rd world country its people like u they hate down there

No es cierto
We don’t have to have dark skin to be considered Latin/Hispanic. I have sisters with very fair skin & some have regular brown hair. I dyed mine brown. lol but I’m not thaaat dark. i just look dark on my arms because of the sun. lol
I come from Mexican culture & proud.
Because most Hispanics in the U.S do not have fairskin. Most Hispanics have darkskin like Eva Mendes and George Lopez for example. So ofcourse those are the common look that people associate with being Hispanic.
comments from people like ”Forever, A Dreamer Nara-Tactics” makes me wonder if most white people are racist.
Most hispanics living here are Puerto Rican or Mexican, and most of them are dark skinned. That’s why people are surprised when they find out a blonde blue-eyed person is latino. They’re used to seeing the opposite.
Don’t feel less latino because you don’t look like the typical one lol
“Latino” is a culture, not an ethnic group.
I do not think that is entirely true. Latinos come in different colors. Do some more research as I do not think you are correct at all.
This is the risk of allowing others to define you. Jim Crow is a system of economic and social control based upon skin color. African American and Spanish Speaking peoples have a variety of skin tones. The range is very fair to very dark. The issue becomes how skin tone is referenced to make economic and social policy.
It’s because they’re ignorant…that’s all i really have to say.
pleas do not be offend.
Spanish European are white,(supposed to be).
Syrians are white with some exception.the climate change the color of the skin, but the skeleton, the structure is European, south America is a mixer Between others non whites or European, lick in Argentina they have German blood and know to be very beautiful.Latinos are mix with Indians Eskimo and block and whites pleas if you are ofendig by all this; i apolagie for
Because the spanish people in america are usually the poor ones… which look like native indians.
Latinos are the most diverse peoples on this planet they can be pale white to dark as night. Im not suprised when I see lations that dont look like your typical latino with dark features and tan skin.
Hispanic is an ethnciity, not a race..A lot of people don’t realize that.
The stereo typical Latino has brown skin, black hair & dark eyes…But I know better.
I’ve seen blue eyed blonde Latinos, as well as chocolate skinned, curly haired Latinos.
It just depends on the ancestry.
they dont matter have to be dark skinned of fact i know alot who arent so it must be were you live
Well My dad’s fair skinned, unless he puts a tan, and I’m more on the tanner side like my mom. But I have cousins that are fair skinned with green eyes and stuff. So I don’t think it’s always necessary it’s just the majority are.
